Just heard a woman was attacked on Windmill Road over the weekend, Anyone know what happend ?

Then you were spared first hunting for a black person then for a person of dark complexion. I'm surprised they didn't arrest James Hanratty!

Well you would have to ask the Police that. As I simply put down what they had said in the flyer they sent to people in the area.

Robert - your post saying "Police are looking for a black guy" didn't really inform anyone much. Would the colour have been mentioned if the police were looking for a white guy and would you have posted "Police are looking for a white guy".  As it turns out from a later post in this thread, the police were not looking for a black guy but a person of dark complexion with a little bit more specifics about him than you provided.

The attack happened in the grounds of St.Faiths church, windmill rd. The church is already responding in prayer and also in seeking funding for improved lighting of the church grounds. The church is also holding a garden working party on Sat 6th June 10-1pm for all interested to come and help clear the grounds and try to increase safety further. If you can bring a garden recycling bag and garden tools. The church will also be open for prayer, teas etc will be available. Everyone is welcome.

Did notice the whole area cordoned off with police tape, and blue tarpaulin's over two places to presumably protect for forensic exams.  From seeing the areas cordoned off, it looks like something happened at the bus stop right outside the church, then carried on about 30 feet 'back' into the church grounds behind some bushes.I must stress this is just the way it appeared from looking at the forensics tarpaulins.  Either way pretty horrendous news being 200 yards from my house.

I wonder if there is a connection...?Detectives investigating a linked series of four rapes in Hounslow and Richmond have set up a single dedicated incident room and are appealing for information from the public.First incident occurred at approximately 3 am on Saturday 14 February when walking along Inwood Road Hounslow. Second incident happened at 0330 hrs on 22 February in Hounslow at the junction of Brainton Avenue. Third incident happened at approximately 2345 hrs on Thurs 30 April when walking into Crane Park from Hospital Road. Fourth incident happened shortly after midnight on Monday 4 May along the footpath between Telford Road and Harvey Road.DI Andy Perrott from the Mets Homicide and Serious Crime Command said: "I would like to speak to anybody who may have been in the vicinity of these attacks and saw or heard anything suspicious The suspect in all four offences is described as having a dark complexion, In his mid 20s with chubby cheeks and thick eyebrows. One victim described his hair as dark. 2 victims described the suspect as wearing a sweet-smelling aftershave.
