ARTISTS AT HOME
54 artists' studios (sometimes their living-rooms) are open in Chiswick, Hammersmith and Shepherds Bush this weekend, starting tomorrow evening on Friday.There are painters, sculptors, potters, printmakers,a photographer, jewellers, textile designers and a furniture designer. Admission is Free and you will be guaranteed a warm welcome by the artists whether you want to buy work at studio prices or just browse and chat to them about their work. The full list and a map can be found onhttp://www.artistsathome.net The list is available in a handy studio guide which you should be able to pick up at the first studio you visit or pick up in advance from a local shop or library. Do note that not ALL the studios are open on Friday evening, but they will all be open on Saturday and Sunday.It's a great way to introduce children to art. If you visit 8 or more studios you can enter a prize draw sponsored by Edward d'Arc to win a £150 token to spend at any of the studios. Enjoy the weekend!
