Meeting tomorrow night at Age Concern in Chiswickhttp://www.brentfordtw8.com/default.asp?section=info&link=http://nnet-server.com/server/common/westchisandgunners001.htmStill trying to work out how the same-site leisure centre will remain accessible whilst a football match is in progress - can't park within miles of Griffin Park on matchdays and that's with a tiny 'gate'.Can't help but feel that leisure centre users are being fobbed off with a part-time facility.

Yes Robert, to paraphrase Scott of the Guardian, commas are free.Still it ticks Brentford FC's consultation boxes, doesn't it, if the good burghers of West Chiswick get to have a say. As far as I'm concerned the replacement for the Fountain Leisure centre couldn't be any _less_ disabled friendly than the current provision which has a sole disabled toilet accessed via the never open creche, a locked disabled changing room that you're expected to run backwards and forwards to reception with the key (in your bathers, of course), not to mention a lack of privacy around showers which doesn't combine well with a learning disabled young person who just _knows_ that you take your clothes off in the shower.A humongous paddling pool avoids all this :)
