Friday's Brentford and Chiswick Times reports:""GIFTS SENT TO SQUATTERS...LIVING IN MPs BRENTFORD HOME"By Lucy Buckland »Gifts of vegetable baskets and home-made cakes are being sent to squatters living in Ann and Alan Keens' Brentford home.Public support for the squatters has quickly spread, with people contacting the Hounslow and Brentford Times to pass on gifts to the group.Duncan Garratt, 45, who lives in South Devon and is sending a homegrown vegetable box, said: “What these two MPs have done is shameful and disgusting. If these squatters were living in someone else’s home it would be very different. But they are not. To me they are heroes.“These squatters obviously don’t have much money so I thought I would go down my allotment and pick them some cucumbers and carrots. All good homegrown stuff.“MPs have not only had their snouts in the trough but all four trotters as well and these two are by far the worse, get them out.”Other gifts being sent include vegetable patties, home-made cakes"" ETC ETC...

Must get it sorted.Your video link is nonetheless a good quality visual souvenir of this historical event.  I wonder how the occupation  will all develop! Mrs Keen will be sick and traumatised by it all..as Robin Taylor has conveyed on the W4 Forum....and no doubt she will received some letters and emails of sympathy.    What she won't have bargained for are the hundreds of locals who have given the squatters the thumbs up.In addition some of those she would have regarded as friendsor supporters have been donating all manner of things.It's this display of anti-Mrs Keen sentiment that no one can deny. These residents are not packs of wolves...but regular upright locals who feel let down and abused.Mr Robin Taylor, living in West Southall, will not understand this. Mrs Keen is not even his MP. Nor does he seemingly know Brentford. How dare she set this beast of a bloodhound onto our Forum and into our local Press. Everyone seems to find the squatters very pleasant to speak too. One voice of dissent... a Conservative voter who lives in Lateward Road..was surprised at their politeness in response to her objections.
