Flickr Group for Brentford Dock

JimAbout ten years ago I climbed up onto the bank above the garages and yes you could still see the remaons of the line.

Hi Richard, Thanks for that URL. I had seen the images before... some years back...but hadn't clicked on the INFORMATION page which gave the background story and revealed that you had been involved so importantly.  So you've tramped around the Dock area even before I joined cyberspace!http://overground.doeth.net/brentford/#II gather that remnants of the platforms still exist at Brentford Town Station..above the garage businesses.

This historic picture shows..I believe.. the warehouses located close to the Dock Basin Lockgates.Do you you recognise the foundations..and those arches..upon which parts of Julius Court has been built?

Thanks John xxxxx for your photo of this picture on display at the event....and it was a pleasure to meet you.It shows the Dock basin, surrounded by the Great Western Railway lines and warehouses, bordering on the River Thames and the southern end of the Grand Union Canal.What an important junction!
