Brentford on BBC London tomorrow (Thurs), contributions welcome
From the GPGBrentford on BBC London tomorrow (Thurs), contributions welcome As part of the Robert Elms show on BBC London 94.9 tomorrow - Thurs 30th July - (Big George sitting in) Billy Reeves (BBC London's man of Brentford) shall be doing his regular bit looking at memories and the history of one of London's major roads, in this case the A4.Therefore we'll be looking for folks to big up their manor: it would be nice for locals from TW8 and TW7 to rave about how great Brentford, Gunnersbury and Osterley are.The show runs between 12noon and 3 and we'll be taking calls 12 to 2 on this: BR will be on at 12:15 to explain where he is and where he's going (Holborn to Heathrow), and asking for good pubs, outside spaces, caffs etc on the route, then he shall be on at 1.40 to 1.50 explaning where he's been with a mountain of trivia to boot.As well as a few subtle mentions of London's best football club. Please tell all your chums, it would be nice to get a few chaps and chappesses on from the areas that the A4 cuts thru, it is, after all, a much underrated manor.KB/BR
