Kids Activity at the Eco-Village
There will be free drawing and ceramics classes at the Eco-Village (northern end of Kew Bridge) this weekend and next weekend. Apparently these will be convened by a qualified teacher and will lead to realisation of the drawings in ceramic and are open to both parents & children. Times to be posted outside.I gleaned this information during a very pleasant, impromptu visit to the eco community that has sprung-up on the north side of Kew Bridge. Myself and my daughter (12) were shown around the site by a group of its very welcoming inhabitants who didn't seem to mind being interupted from their various, interesting activities (such as clay oven construction) to respond to our many questions. I recommend that anyone who hasn't visited pop-in and take the opportunity for a look around & a chat. Refreshing stuff.
