I'm looking forward to todays Brentford v Brighton. The family ticket has gone up from 20 to 30 quid. Still good value I think: 2 adults and 3 children. Should be an interesting season since they went up.

On monday a meeting of BU members took place to discuss the proposed takeover of the club by Matthew Benham.This proposed takeover is the most important decision that members have to make.

For anyone who is thinking of going to the away game at Southampton this Saturday 22nd, Southwest Trains are doing a 'Midsummer Madness' special this month whereby you can get a return ticket from London to any other Southwest station (e.g. Southampton) for £10 Adults & £5 Children.Be aware though that there are engineering works between Brentford & Barnes so the best option would be to travel from Richmond via Clapham Junction or Waterloo.
