Another bit of Brilliant Brentford..Jim - any chance of a photo of the bent pipe outside the fish & chip shop in Albany Road.  How many hundreds of times have I been past and taken no notice assuming it was bent lamp-post until recently reading that it is in fact and old water pipe used to fill watercarts?  You could get some of the best fish & chips in town while you're there!Anyone got any more information?

Thanks for the support, it is really all so lovely.Just had the menu through which looks very yummy.  We are still looking for some auction and raffle prizes so if there is anyone out there who would like to donate a gift, it would be really appreciated.Everything else is arranged and we are just hoping for a warm dry evening.Yes hoping it will be an annual event as the money for the lights needs to be raised on an annual basis.  We will try to get a bigger venue next year as so many people have been turned away which is such a shame.Thanks again to everyone for all their support.

Four months - is that all!  Please don't remind us Jim!The badges are going well with people coming into the office and putting a few coins in our collection box.  Every bit helps.Tickets for Syon Park are now sold out which is great but lots of disappointed people unfortunately.
