Brentford Census (Who are you?)

I would be interested to know who lives in Brentford.  I'm middle-aged at 42. It appears to me sometimes to be mainly an older generation. Many of the popular events I've seen regularly here, films at the Art centre, shows at the Musical Museum, seem to be largely attended by over 60s?

My partner and I have been enjoying the Sunday films at the Musical Museum (we're 40 and 42), but have also noticed that the rest of the audience is much older. I sometimes secretly enjoy being one of the youngest people in the room!I suspect that people our age choose to leave Brentford when they go out, or entertain at home. We always find fun things to do nearby.

Maybe that's true. It has made me discover musicians who are older than me and have inspired me with their playing.

I think one of the best things about Brentford is the sheer variety of people who live here - and on the whole it has a stable population of people who feel comfortable being here.  It depends on which night you went to Watermans, it may have been more to do with what was on that night.  Maybe a BrentfordTW8 meet-up?  Kath?

Feel I should be launching into a chorus of "All by myself".OK I'm forty-something, married, four children. Socialise at home a lot but had a very pleasant evening this Monday just gone at Prezzo's in the company of about 20 good friends.
