Water pressure

Has anyone noticed a drop in their water pressure over the weekend? Today it was even worse - like trying to shower under a dripping tap! Have any major leaks been reported???

Indeed. But you wouldn't have had the same service if you hadn't gone to Richard Aylard. When he says jump the staff usually ask 'how high'

Ver impressed with the customer service from Thames Water.  Since an email from Richard Aylard I've had two further phone calls from them and an email today with an update:Your water pressure should be back to normal in the next few days. As a precaution I have requested that our Water Pressure Co-ordinator monitors the situation.  If necessary, we will contact you again regarding this matter.

Thanks for the contact at TW, I emailed Richard Aylard and an operative from Thames Water has just called me back.  They are going to carry out pressure testing in the area next week in the hope of finding and resolving the cause of the pressure drop.

Mogden has nothing to do with water pressure as it is a Sewage Treatment Works rather than a clean water pumping station.

Tried calling TW a couple of times yesterday but after being on hold for 20 minutes gave up so have emailed them again.

Well thanks for clearing that up - our pressure was marginally up this morning but nowhere near what it should be - no pongs to report though.

Yes, our water pressure has been low for over a week now.  I spoke to Thames Water last week and they said it should have been resolved by yesterday but it was still the same this morning.  I will be calling them again later.

There were yet again some plant malfunctions at Mogden but I don't know if this would account for a water pressure drop.A scraper on one of the primary tanks, located on the west side of the works, requires some maintenance work owing to a failed scrape. Before ther maintenance team can carry out any work, they need to empty thetank.  They  plan to drain down the tank tomorrow afternoon. The work is expected to produce some odour.
