I emailed Richard Aylard at Thames Water and I received an instant response and everything is sorted out and Thames Water are covering the costs on all the parking tickets issued.email from them....Dear Ms NaughtonThank you for your email to Richard Aylard. I am replying on Richard's behalf as he is out of the office today.I'd like to reassure you that I have read your email and fully understand your concerns. We understand why this has caused some frustration and as a gesture of goodwill, we are happy to cover the cost of any parking tickets that have been issued as a result of the delay to our work. For us to be able to carry out our work in Brook Lane North, we needed to arrange a traffic order with the local authority. We had planned to start work here on 16 November, however the team who were intended to complete the work needed to be moved on to emergency work elsewhere. The emergency work has been successfully completed and we are ready to start work again in Brook Lane North. You will see teams from Laing O'Rourke there on Monday. To avoid delays to our crucial mains replacement in Brook Lane North, we chose to keep the original traffic order rather than applying for a new traffic order, which would have meant a further six week delay. Please can you call me on the number below and I will arrange the refund of any parking tickets related to Brook Lane North and our traffic order.Kind regards
