I had never heard of Gucharan Singh until I read the article of his defection on W4 and I have not been particularly interested in Southall, (other than the great restaurants), so I totally accept what you say. This reinforces my thought that perhaps Robin's time may be better spent canvassing in Southall  rather than subjecting himself to constant bullying or being assailed by some 'unknown people' of Hounslow Borough.

Philthe Group that Calculate the Allowance Rates are done by,Broad Rental Market who gives them the Permission to do this the government?  I was watching PMQ a few Weeks`ago and this was Raised.Its wrong Phil because Landlords who excepted More last year will now get £150 less meaning more people on the Streets.

SimonNobody has frozen the Council Tax yet in spite of the Chronicle article.  Next Tuesday Borough Council will be asked to offer some suggestions for Scrutiny and the final decision will be taken early in March 2010.I have to admit that I didn't understand what you meant when you first made reference to Housing "rates" being cut but now that I have a clearer picture I have asked our Housing people for a full brief on this and when I get it you'll have it.  I'm fairly sure a decision of this kind could not have been made by a local authority.

Yes Tony, you have misunderstood that line.We have no interest in party politics and we do subscribe to any political ideology.  Our only interest is the empowerment of the community.  Our voters support us on that basis and our opponents attack us because we adopt that position, although because they realise that to do so publicly would be countrer-productive they sometimes invent other reasons for their hostility to us for public consumption which they feel are easier to sell.However it would be absurd to expect us to be neutral in an electoral contest in which we were participating.  We want people to vote for the ICG and not for other candidates, ipso facto we cannot be said to be neutral.Hope that clarifies things and I'm glad to hear that you don't approve of lying as a method of political engagement.  Hopefully one day you will be able to bring yourself to criticise those who engage in it and not just those who promote the emancipation of the non-political majority.

I am not a magistrate so it won't help much for me to listen to these testimonies but tell more. "And by the way, didn't you proudly proclaim on the Chiswick forum that you had called one of your own employees "scum"? Yes I did. But I wouldn't say 'proudly'  - it was a matter of fact. Possibly disparagingly would be more appropriate. "Not that being called "scum" particularly worries me - I've been called worse just for doing my job - but I don't see why I should go out of my way to get that type of abuse." I don't believe that anyone on TW8 or W4 has ever called you 'scum' Robin. I don't know you from a bar of soap because you refuse to make yourself known but nothing you have ever posted on a forum, that I have ever read,  would suggest to to me that you are scum. Paranoid, obsessive and compulsive perhaps, but not scum.

Possibly. And possibly we misinterpret the fact that you spend so much more of your time attacking the ICG (6 seats) than you do the Conservatives (24 seats), or the fact that as "anti-racists" you put so much more effort into opposing the ICG and other resident-led initiatives than you do the BNP.  But please don't forget that much and possibly most of the Labour Party which opposed us in 1998 is now firmly lined up with the community movement.  It is indeed no exaggeration to say that at times we know what your next little stunt will be before you do.

"So your comment in June that you had no idea who Sue Sampson was was not intended to be true in the literal sense?"When did I say that I had no idea who Sue Sampson was?"But then again, this will be the first election that I've been involved in in which my New Labour opposition will be working actively for a Tory victory."If you think that then why do you think it is that so much pro-Labour correspondence to the local press has been devoted to taking the Tories to task over their allowance claims, the refuse collection service and cuts in services?Surely a neutral observer would interpret this as the Labour Party being determined to prevent Tory advances in those marginal Labour wards that the Conservatives need to win an outright majority (and maybe also an attempt by Labour to snatch some vulnerable Tory-held seats)?When you went on the Tonight programme, you made reference to the National Front mindset of believing obsessively in conspiracy theories. When you consider some of the stuff you come out with, don't you perhaps think that you're still trapped in that mindset?

Where do you get this from?Sue's comment that "we've known Robin for years" sounded to me like a gesture of defiance, and was in response to you implying that she might want to distance herself from me. Also, I seem to remember that it was a reference to her and Ann, although possibly it was also a general reference to the Brentford & Isleworth CLP. Certainly Ann has known me for years (I designed a leaflet for her 1992 campaign) and Sue has known OF me for years.Why on earth are you getting your knickers in a twist about this anyway? If you want to put out a smear sheet to selected households proclaiming that the prospective Labour candidate for Isleworth is in cahoots with a former ANL member from Southall, then be my guest. People won't think any less of you than they already do.And by the way, what's this about "the pathetic and laughably little gang of neutrals on this forum that (I) only activate in times of trouble?" Is this supposed to be a reference to Adam Beamish - and do you think I post under his name?You know what, Phil, let me give you some advice as a friend.
