Can i ask if a Street has signs saying "Controlled parking, Monday - Saturday 8am to 8pm" what does this mean does it mean if you don't have a Resident parking permit you can be ticketed?

In that Case why do Traffic Wardens NEVER visit "Teesdale Ave" every day i walk the dog down that street all the Builders from the Hospital Site park up there but you never see any parking tickets this is money that the Council could be using on other areas from the fines.

Perhaps they've got a special dispensation because of working nearby. If you're concerned speak to the Parking Dept
Thanks Pat will do.
If they are parked correctly and the residents aren't complaining, why not give the drivers a break, Simon?

Well i don't know if Residents are NOT complaining, it was a honest question Sarah like you with the pavements.

Simon,The sign to which you refer relates to the single yellow lines at the junction of London Rd and Teesdale Ave. It does not apply to the whole road. This is quite different from a CPZ.
