Hi again....A neighbour of mine visited Brentfordtw8 website and knocked at my door and is doing my garden at mates rates:-)Hi Audrey.... There were only 2 Apple Trees when I moved into your house. The one closest to the house died and is now just a tree stump (about 6 feet tall) but is very handy for hanging lanterns with candles in on the branch stumps. The one half way down the garden did not bear any fruit last year. (I don't know if you planted the white rambling rose bush next to it?) which now adorns the whole tree with beautiful double blooming roses - which are still in bloom in December! I pulled up the blueberry bush because it tended to get everywhere and got out of control. I don't know if the orange rose bush was planted by you but that is still beautiful as well with a beautiful scent. Also just to the left of the apple tree half way down the garden I have a fish pond. I brought 4 goldfish 5 years ago and noticed 3 babies this year. Just past that apple tree I also have 2 arches with climbing Roses, Passion flowers, Jasmine and clemitas over them. I pulled down the fence on the alley side to make a 'natural hedging'. All down the side I have about 6 rambling rose bushes, hawthorns, honeysuckles, clematis, lavender, and various other hedging shrubs. I am planting a Bird Cherry Tree, 4 Lawson Cypress trees and a Mock Orange Tree. I will email you a picture of your old garden when it is in full bloom next Summer. Also, your front hedge which you told me your father used to trim every Sunday is still there as well! Happy gardening....Fran
