Improved forum software needed - so we can expand all messages

How many others are bothered by the lack of sophistication of this Forum software.A busy thread presents you with many messages, you have to open each in turn.I cant be bothered and want to see all posts in sequence, as you can on any modern Forum siteSince this site is generic for many suburbs, surely worth the investment?

Yes I have the same problem on them both and from work and home computers. I never had this problem when I started using the forums I just happened for no reason I can fathom.

They have had a problem with login in on the Chiswick site whereby we have to logon each time to poat a message. It may be related to this problem.

The fact that you can't edit the posts is the most annoying thing to me.

Automatic logging on is normally accomplished by your browser storing your log on and password credentials.All recent browsers do this provided you have enabled this facility.But anyway, this forum software is so poor, you cant even edit a post after submitting it.

I think Philip means logon each time as opposed to registerThe problem with the NN sites is that although the software was written BC it remains a popular forum and therefore retains the majority of its customers.There have been several thoughts on creating a new place for a forum but I do wonder whether people would just stay loyal to this site rather than move.It does suprise me somewhat that NN dont improve the forum software. It would be expensive initially but would surely pay for itself over time.Of course because they dont really communicate with forum members who is to say that they are not in the process of rolling out a new version?
