High tides - watch out on Monday
Tomorrow's afternoon spring tide is predicted to be one of the highest of the year, but it remains to be seen whether it beats today's which was extremely high. The above photo was taken in Chiswick this afternoon, and I guess areas around Ferry Quays and Johnsons Island in Brentford got rather wet today. This is just to remind you all that as usual the highest tides for the year are listed on this site (click on Information on the home page, then Tide Times). For copyright reasons, that is all I've been able to provide on a public website until now, but thanks to the Port of London Authority I'm now able to publish full tide tables showing all high and low tides for the whole year. They are on my new website http://tides.rjen.me.uk It includes tide tables for Chiswick Mall, Strand on the Green, Brentford and Putney. The site is still a work in progress, with an FAQ and more photos to be added. Feel free to contact me with any comments or questions at tides10@rjen.me.ukTomorrow's spring tide is predicted to be even higher than today's (it should reach Brentford at 16:27).
