Layton Road
Just received a couple of flyers over the weekend from the Brentford Safer Neighbourhood Team informing us that there has been a significant increase over the last month in the amount of vehicles that have been broken into around the area.Drove up Brook Road North yesterday morning & as most of the road had no cars parked on it (obviously the local building sites etc were shut for the weekend!) you could see the amount of broken glass lying in the kerb at various locations which would appear to be the result of cars/vans etc having been broken into.Just wanted to know what has happened to the recently installed CCTV system that was put in at some expense as looking up at the lamp post which I'm pretty sure that it was installed on it now doesn't appear to be there?Also, any truth in the rumour that there was a body found in the (still) derelict New England pub last week?Matt, could you enlighten us possibly?
