Thames Water in the Dock
The £multi million High Court case against Thames Water for years of neglect at Mogden begins on 23 February and is expected to last 6 weeks. Hounslow's Tory Leadership will have a lot to answer for by agreeing to the expansion of Mogden before awaiting the outcome of the trial where Thames' handling of previous expansion programmes will be thoroughly examined. Interestingly Thames will be holding talks at Barnes Wetlands on 23 February where the Mogden issue and the Super Sewer will be discussed. Because Hounslow didn't get Thames to agree to start the super sewer at Mogden, which would have been the obvious and best choice, it is likely it will start in Chiswick or Turnham Green. Well done to Hounslow Council.
