She's wonderful, I believe she or somebody else at the steam museum was going to donate a water pump too to bring water up from the river to water the plants but that idea never quite got off the ground (but it was still a very nice thought!) I'm not sure about the apprenticeships but I think I have a good idea of who to ask and I'll try and find out for you. :)"What I was trying to put across was that the vast majority of people cant afford to just give up their work."Yes but that's the point, they're trying to showcase that there is a way of living that doesn't involve you needing any money. They CAN afford to give up their work, because they DON'T need money for anything, savvy? Those villagers who have continued to work, do so because they have jobs which they really enjoy! I can't comment on anyone else's 'class' (nor would I want to), I'm not certainly not from a 'middle class' background (mores the pity, I would've loved to have been able to afford to go to university!)Unfortunately I'm fairly sure you've already made up your mind about these people without knowing or being willing to know anything about them, which is unfortunate, however people who cast assumptions rarely have any inclination to change their ill-informed opinions so I think trying to explain any of their ideologies to you is going to be a bit of a waste of time. I recommend going down there and meeting them yourself, they're a very friendly bunch and I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised. :)
