RobinI appreciate your concerns i really do, and you know that I've had this Discussion openly and Fairly with Phil over the past couple years and he knows where i stand on it.I am not campaigning 4 them, but i feel very strongly towards Paul Fisher as a Great Councillor and as done so much 4 me in the 4yrs off Being Cllr and helped everyone I've referred them to him so in my Eyes he is a Great Cllr and Isleworth Needs him.As to the Syon Cllrs, I've worked with Caroline and John over the past year and half off living in the Syon ward and they have helped on many Issues and they certainly will be getting my Vote in May 100%.Robin i vote for those i feel are good for the residents it doesn't matter what the party is, its Like I like Dave Hughes and His wife who helped my mum recently and i like you, yes you are a supporter of Labour but that don't bother me as that's your right i certainly would not stop talking or being friends with someone who doesn't vote the same as me.Yes Phil and i have our differences where Ivybridge is concerned but he gave me the Best 4yrs f my life by getting me elected onto the Isleworth and Hounslow Charity Group, i am not interested to be honest in whats going on between Phil and you i feel its silly it doesn't get either off you anywhere mate its just makes you both look Silly.Like i said i can be Friends with Phil (who outside off Politics is a Nice Guy) and i can be friends with you too.As to Using me well i am older and wiser now and No one would do that 2 me Now.Lastly When it comes to Politics I give praise to Cllrs, Mp's or Parties where praise is due but i also will criticize them if they do wrong whoever the Cllr, Mp or party it is.

To be honest I can't even be bothered to read all of this thread, there is nothing new on the postings I have read. It's all been done to death erally. I do however have a question for Sue and any other labour activist/supporters following the thread and I would really appreciate an answer!Do the local labour party truly in their hearts and souls believe Ann Keen will be re-elected at a general election?Unless they do, (in which case they are deluded or worse) why was she not deselected and another plausable candidate put up for this constituency? Why do they have so little regard for the electorate that we have in effect been given no choice on who to vote for?  I am a labour supporter/voter through and through and I would still vote labour at any forthcoming election.  I think Gordon Brown is a decent and intelligent well meaning man who deserves a longer stay in power to try and get things right.  I had no time for Tony Blair ever, even from day one.  However, I digress, who would you suggest I vote for now in this constituency?  Ann Keen will never get another vote from me or from many other dyed in the wool labour voters so, we are left with no candidate to support and that is shameful. In the certain knowledge she will be defeated, largely as a result of her greed or perhaps just the perception of her greed, she has been left in place to collect her £65,000 pay off in May/June whenever and no doubt hubby will be getting the same.  Well worth her staying on for but not worth labour not putting up a credible candidate!

Well i'm sorry you have not succeeded.  I don't care about other mps they are not my mp if they were I would not vote for them.  I also don't care about the ICG I'm not voting for them either.  It has to be said at least some tories had the decency to stand down and others were deselected.  The Keens are not outer London MPs and their commute to work is no more taxing than mine but I can't claim expenses or have a second home paid for for me, nor I suspect can any of the consituents you expect to go out and vote for her.I am old enough to remember a labour party with conviction a party that stood for things I believed in and politicians that were frequently inspiring.  The likes of Ann Keen make me despair.  She clearly only has self interest at heart.  She has made her pile and I do begrudge her and her husband the redundancy payments they will be picking up shortly.  I worked with a woman who had worked at my firm for 34 years and received £13000 redundancy.  Perhaps MPs should only receive the same statutory redudancy that the rest of the private sector workforce receive?  She clearly has no shame and is totally out of touch with her consituents if she believes she has a chance of re-election and I therefore believe the fact that she did not jump but is waiting to be pushed, says all we need to know.In any event you have not answered my question, Do you seriously believe she will be re-elected?  If not, why was she not deselected and a credible candidate put up?  Clearly you will say she can be re-elected in which case I'm afraid you are, as I said, deluded and definitely in denial.  I am aggrieved because I want a labour government returned and yet I can't vote for it.  This seat is lost already and you really must know that.  She does not have a large majority and would take very little for her to lose even if she was popular but she is not!
