AndyCan we please leave personal attacks out of this campaign? The allegation you posted about me is completely untrue. I attended the Day of Remembrance in Isleworth last year having been asked to on behalf of the Labour Party. I never claimed to be a local councillor to anyone. I wasn't even selected as a candidate at the time.Every party standing in this election should be judged on their record and policies. All the pledges in the Labour manifesto have been fully costed. Can we please leave the electorate of Isleworth to decide who has the best policies for them? There is no need for silly lies and slurs about rival candidates. I'm sure whoever is elected will aim to do the best they can for the residents of Isleworth. I'm trying to persuade as many people as possible that Labour is the best option. This will be my only election related post on this forum before polling day. I will be doing my best to meet as many voters as possible in the meantime. I'm also running the London Marathon on Sunday to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Having had cancer myself 2 years ago I appreciate the importance of both the NHS and charities like Macmillan which is why I'm doing it. So I've got more than enough to be getting on with.If any readers of this forum would like to help me raise money for Macmillan my fundraising webpage is below:http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/edmayneIf any readers of the forum have any questions for me or my fellow Labour candidates please email me directly on:ed.mayne@gmail.com.
