Latest Conservative glossy claims "pressure on Thames Water"

The latest glossy leaflet from Conservative candidate Mary Macleod claims that she has put "pressure" on Thames Water to do something to reduce the odour from the plant.This is good news but could one of the Conservative posters who use this forum please elaborate on this for us, as it presumably must be a recent development?Many thanks.

I think pressure can come in various forms.I was putting pressure on Mary Macleod and Theresa Villiers to answer obscure points of Conservative policy at Turnham Green tube station yesterday.We'll have to see whether either application of pressure has any effect. Do either of us have influence on the object we are exerting pressure on ?
