John, Sorry for the delayed response (have been in Yorkshire). Personally I don't think residency should be a prerequisite for candidacy,it does seem that others do,they are entitled to their views. By the same token I feel that candidates shouldn't be precluded because they still live in their parents house, you seem to have a preconceived idea,or maybe a mould that you think successful candidates should fit into, that's very boring and can lead to a whole bunch of in-breds,ruling the country.(any resonances?) I took your advise and looked at Andrews interests entry on LBH site,I have to say it all seems pretty benign to me,all candidates have to get funds from somewhere,Andrew listed his,end of story really! Actually looking at the LBH site lead me to Andrews own site, you'll be dissappointed but I came away being quite impressed,he seems an intelligent caring person, certainly I share his views on Brentfords regeneration, though sadly the economic climate isn't conducive."Independent life style is sometimes indicative of an adventurous robust personality." I'm not sure what you mean by "independent lifestyle",old fashioned tramps had an independent lifesyle, whilst I may envy them I wouldn't advocate letting them govern the country,(? or perhaps I would?). Nope people with adventurous robust personalities have *always* ended up getting me in the manure...steady is the new robust!Sundries....I was pleased to see the AD worked at the BBC,I was incarcerated there for most of my working life .I notice the Conservatives have already started having a go at Auntie, they really want to control her output don't they? Mind you Labour were no different over the Dr.David Kelly affair.I can't because I live over the Border, but Vote Dakers! :0)
