Ian,"...what kind of music are you making? If your needs for rehearsal space reflect volume it is unlikely you will find private help - it would have to be professional rehearsal rooms/studios...."It doesn't matter what kind of music. Because it is about SINGING. (It's NOT about music. Because I rehearse with headphones, not with speakers.)"...what kind of music you do..." .....reallydifficult question. To be honest I do not like this question....Because I would not like to concentrate on only one style/kind ofmusic. I would like to make many kinds of music. Like Prince andMichael Jackson do. They make many kinds of music from soul, gospel(the songs with a choir) to rock, pop-jazz, funk, rap and many more...The most important for me is the soulful voice...the voice withfeelings! If you really force me to say a style which is the closesttomy heart ..I would say soul and slow-jam (Brandy, Monica (the oldsongs), TLC (!!!), Michael Jackson, Prince and many more). Also I likestyles like George Benson, Al Jarreau, Aritha Franklin, Lionel Richietc..., But I am sure, someday I will like to make also some rock witha good-quality hard guitar solo....like Dirty Diana, Beat it, byMichael Jackson. In the current time I work on the song: "Man In The Mirror" well knownfrom Michael Jackson's album BAD. But I make a quite different musicarrangement of this song (very slower, it will be Soul Music). Thissong I am going to have as my first DEMO. I am not going to copy othersingers or songs, I have a lot on my heart to compose by myself. I justrehearse on this song (exercise) and use it as the DEMO.I am reminding a very good idea TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO HELP:Guys, I have an idea:Maybe some of your friends or you have a shop. Some rooms in such houses have windows where people live in the basement. But, many houses where are shops, do not have any windows for the rooms, which are in the basements. The owners usualy use such rooms in the basement as a storage room or they do not properly use it, at all. (I could rehearse singing surrounded with boxes of goods.) Some shops close very early in the afternoons. (At about 5 P.M.) So..I could reheare in such basement: After they close the shop - nobody in the shop would be disturbed through the floor/ceiling. And if the next basements (on the left and right side of the basement where I would be) would be similar = a storage, I would not disturb anyone. What you think about this idea? Do you know someone who has a shop?
