Brentford and Isleworth is a two way fight
Now that the Clegg effect has faded nationally, and now that Andrew Dakers has failed to make an impact locally, Brentford and Isleworth is a straight two way fight between Labour's Ann Keen and the Conservatives' Mary Macleod. The Conservatives have a strong lead over both Labour and the Lib Dems nationally. Mary Macleod has fought a much stronger campaign than her predecessor did in 2005 and the Conservative led Council is popular, having done a great job improving services and freezing the Council Tax. General Elections are about choosing a Government. There is no prospect whatsover of the Lib Dems forming a Government. Therefore if you want to keep Ann Keen and Gordon Brown - vote Labour but if you want a new MP and a new Government, vote Conservative.
