Peter Pan Cup Christmas 1932 - Serpentine Swimming Club
Thought you might like to see this photograph which is of the Peter Pan cup won on Christmas day in 1932.The engraving says "Peter Pan cup Xmas 1932 won by Clarence M Reed". The lady linked to the 'Newts thread' came from a family who were long time members of the club and were acknowledged as having kept it going through War years and other troubled times in the clubs history. The cup is about 12 inches high and made with large enough handles to hold it above your head to wave in triumph.Everything including race details and winners going back to the turn of the century has gone back to the club for their records.
