You have a bald patch and rather than go for a crappy comb-over or a dumb look of long hair around the bald patch, you've decied to cut all the remaining hair short. This makes it look better overall. Is that right?Then you have tried to make a comparison to a policy of driving everyone / every thing down to lowest common demoninator. Is that right?Did you consider that the comparison was poor because you assume that every hair follicle has the same opportunities, privilages and access? You seem to think that each follicle is born equal, with equal chance of success. Do you?Did you also consider that the effort and cost to enable to failing follicles is achievable and affordable?
