Does anyone know why? our drinking water is running white

You would have thought that the Water Board would have informed us that there is a problem and when if ever it was going to be fixed. Of course we are superfluous and do not deserve the courtesy of notification of work being undertaken after all our water rates are automatically paid by Direct Debit. The Council need to take the Water Board to Task and ensure that our Drinking Water is safe!!!

A Very Good Afternoon to one and all, I have the greatest of pleasure in confirming our Tap Water is completely clear, even though the Water Board should have kept us updated Well Done to them!!!

Neither would I have been Steve, if we do not get a constructive and plausable answer soon, I will take a specimen and have it analyised myself, then if necassary bring the Health Authorities in. If the Council will not look out for us then I will.

I remember several years ago, the reservoirs were so low we had litle wiggly worms in the water, we were assured that it was completely safe! I was not convinced!

Steve, in all truthfullness it does appear to be getting better, just to be on the safe side though all water that is not store bought is boiled in our house before use.

It usually means air is getting into the mains, when the road's up and they are changing pipes and stuff. If you run a glass and leave it for a minute or so it clears.

Ours is O.K. but I would hazard a guess and say it might be something to do with the pumping stations losing power from the power cut yesterday. Our pressure was on the up by the time we went to bed, but it hasn't been great for months.
