Trad jazz in Brentford.

Thanks for the reminder Editor Kath about the Griffin Park Jazz Club.Thursday, tomorrow at 8,30pm at The Hive, Griffin Park, Braemar Road.Muskat Ramblers?   Might give that evening out a whirl!Do they still have Trad Jazz at the Brewery Tap on Tuesdays, Thursdays..and perhaps Sunday these days. Haven't been there for a couple of years it seems.  I used to like the Basin Street Six with Phil Brown and co..especially when the banjoist was playing with them.A few pints, bags of crisps a few nuts..and with one's foot tapping away...it was fantastic. Hey you, hang on..wasn't I at School with you in the 1950s..and so on. News please if you have any.  Might see you Thursday.

Goodo, it's Tuesday again.The "One More Time Trad Jazz Band" will at the BT tonight.Just down the road from the old barracks!  And just opposite Johnson's Island TW8.

So there's the regular Phil Brown jazz band playing at the Tap tonight...There seems no end of action in the area if you hunt around.You hunting tonight?

Hi Jim, sorry I haven't replied before..but you must get down to the BT on Tuesdays from 8.45pm..I was there tonight..and you'll find what you're looking for.Very talented and friendly lot..and several of them..it turns out went to Strand on the Green School back in your time..and Staveley and the County. I've twittered some pictures ..are you into that?By the way they're called the One More Time trad jazz band.See ya there sometime
