Hi everyone :)I organised a fundraising gig with Nick Lowe back in April –some of you may have been there. We raised 6k for projects at St Paul’s church including the community café and I’ve now set up my own company organising and promoting gigs/events. All of the ones I put on at St Paul’s Church will have an element of fundraising for local good causes (occasionally national ones) and I would really love it if any local businesses could donate raffle prizes, and of course you’re all welcome to come to any of the shows! Hi HelenJust found your plea.Come for a walk in the Park in the Dark.....2010 sees the fifth year of Syon Park’s Enchanted Woodland, a magical event which sees an illuminated trail laid out through the Gardens and Arboretum of Syon.  As the path winds around the eighteenth century lake, a range of exciting lighting effects bring the landscape to life in a whole new way.  The shapes and textures of Syon’s fine old trees are thrown into sharp contrast against the night sky, or reflected in the mirror of the lake before the route culminates at the magnificent Great Conservatory.  A unique and magical event for young and old alike. The event is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night from 19th November to 5th December 2010, Gates open at 5pm, with last admission at 8pm.  Adults £5, children £2.  Food and refreshments will be available every night.  For more information and pictures of last year’s event, please go to www.syonpark.co.uk.  flickr.com has some great pics too.We are really passionate abut this feel-good event for our local community and are more than happy to offer some free tickets for raffles at local events.  Do we send them directly or through you?  We would love to spread the word about our Enchanted Woodland, do you have any suggestions?  Look forward to hearing from you soon.Emma Hadleigh-SparksSenior Administration AssistantSyon HouseSyon Park BrentfordMiddxTW8 8JF020 8560 0882emma@syonpark.co.ukwww.syonpark.co.ukwww.syonpark.co.uk/enchanted_woodland.htm
