BT down in TW8?

Many people, both residents and businesses seem to have no BT, either internet and/or phone line.Has anyone heard from BT who does have internet? I don't use it myself.

Down here in Holland Gardens we were finally reconnected tonight...over 4 days since I reported the fault on Tuesday lunchtime.  Terrible from BT in my view - it's not like there's been any freak weather, we live in one of the world's biggest cities etc. If someone nicks some cable it shouldn't take 4 days to find some more and connect it.

The Boston Manor dog walkers (who are usually very well-informed) tell us that someone had 'lifted' a considerable length of cable from the open road works.

Yes, my phone and internet were out from early Tuesday morning. I am not with BT, and it was only when I went to neighbour's house to report fault we discovered his phone was also down. We did manage to report fault. Told at first it would take three days to fix,then told it would be Saturday(today). It came back on, on Friday about 9.30pm. My neighbour phoned me to tell me.

Visiting the Shell Garage at Gillette Corner the other day..I was surprised to a notice saying " cash only".That must have caused a panic for motorist needing fuel urgently and with no cash on them.Hang on, I suppose they could have made use of the Cash Machine outside....unless that was down as well. I waved my Shellcard at the cashier and he accepted that. Odd..and lucky!

Our phone and internet were down for 72 hours from midnight on Monday. After what seemed like several hours of trying to find a human being to talk to about it, it transpired that it was a broken/damaged cable linked to the Isleworth exchange. BT have been digging up the pavement on the A4 outside PC World for the past few days, so it might have been there.

Indeed, I returned home on Tuesday lunchtime to find I had no phone or internet access.  Spoke to our concierge who was also in the same position and it gradually became clear everyone both within our development at Holland Gardens and surrounding streets were also in the same boat.I logged a fault report with BT around 2pm Tuesday.  Although I got a text acknowledgement of the fault report I'm yet to hear anything more almost 48 hours later - not impressed :-(
