York Road Children In Need Street Party

Wow.. What a brilliant evening organised by Jessie in York Road raising money for Children In Need. The brilliant band 'Grand Prairie' who only three months ago were Willie Nelson's support band in America and Rob Wilson is the bass player and singer of Grand Prairie  who lives in York Road. Everyone had a fantastic time from babies, children and as old as 85 years old dancing on the street.... Everyone in York Road cooked lovely food as well, a fantasic chillie con carne, cakes, triffles, mulled wine, etc. what a great evening...

Yes as Fran said a fantastic and well-organised afternoon/ evening in York Road!  Thanks to Jess & Mike and all others involved for organising, and to the local businesses that donated such generous raffle prizes.Not only was a great time had by all, but I think about 400 pounds was raised for Children in Need.York Rd is definitely the best street in Brentford; looking forward to the next street party!
