...road closed between Linkfield Road and the old Chequers pub. Doesn't seem to be a car crash, possibly a pedestrian injured. Bottom line is avoid, and let's hope it's not too serious.

Spoke to a police officer as I drove out of the estate tonight, sadly there was a fatality but I don't have any details. The road is open again now.
