Isleworth featured on BBC today.

House in Mogden Lane on 'Homes under the Hammer' BBC1 this a.m. Sold at auction for just over £230.000 approx. Estimate for re-sale when re-furb. completed £250.000 in spite of backing on to Mogden. The buyer decided to let it out.

I nearly bought a nice house on the road opposite Mogden Lane but did a little local research and looked at the a-z to see how near to the sewage works it was.The pint I bought a local in a nearby pub was the best couple of quid I have ever spent.He told me all about the summer pong.

Presenter, Lucy, did not exagerate when describing the 'stink' but I wonder where on earth the estate agent came from who tried to play down the smell!  I bet everyone who knows how offensive Mogden is, was shouting at the screen!

Quite a few houses on Mogden Lane look as though they could do with a good spruce up but I am still very surprised the end value was only £250,000
