Claudia is a chef and runs her own catering company. She has spent countless hours helping young people find their own personal expression through inspiring young men and women to take up cooking as a passion. She has donated loads of hours to young people in this area and others without any recognition or praise. A few years in Brentford and before in the west London area, Claudia has managed to get jobs for mums that were thought unemployable, connect people with her mentoring with jobs in catering and most of the time teaching them how to get off the system and on their own two feet.Claudia has given loads of advise and encouragement to so many people, that she is known as mum to many. She has a knack for easing the toughest of pain and challenges with her practical approach to problems and a positive outlook on life. She is a part of a local charity theBRIDGE-UK and her efforts for the local community has been far reaching and she has shown her interest in Brentford since her arrival from participating on the High Street Steering Group to supporting many of the locals and their events!Eileen Henderson, is a person who gives countless hours of help and assist in the town of Brentford with moments of relentless hours in the background. Eileen having been a major part of the former charity Grand Union, has given countless hours beyond her pay to help the charity keep its footing and mange the administrative details of many demands. Now Eileen over the months has volunteered her time during the rebirth of the charity as theBRDIGE-UK. Once again she has been intrumental in participating with several ventures and helping with the back office support and behind the scenes involvement with many new young artist in music and entertainment. Eileen's perseverance to help and be in the background has made many new solutions possible. She is an administrative wiz, still finding time to help officials to others as an enterprise and volunteer her time.Kevin Wilsher, is amongst the best in customer service of Brentford, but he is really a guru of service excellence. Many times over, you will find Kevin in the Dew Drop Inn, on the high street doing what few others can do with the ease of a summer's breeze. He has captured many of hearts as he helps the cities' pensioners with respect and eagerness. He makes their place and time an experience to be second to none. He has been said to have some seniors look forward to their time at the Dew just because Kevin is there. Many have witness him getting the coffee just right to the tea just perfect and more times than not, always finding a smile to share and a kind word to give, even when times have been tough. He and the family at Dew Drop have been a Brentford staple of service and great atmosphere for food on a budget, for the whole family.Michael Elia, the owner & mezzie chef, of the Dew Drop Inn finds a special place in keeping his shop open to the public and thriving because so many depend on it to be open. The morning hang out place to meet and greet. Michael and family seem to find a happy moment to come out and share a laugh and a smile and the odd banter to make the visit to the Dew Drop like home.Michael lost his wife of 45 years a year ago and then managed to keep his little place on the corner alive with family and community support. He has mange to help many young people who were working in the area with a place to get good food on a budget and allow some training of a few to apprentice, all with no reward to the Dew.Cain Gerrod, yet another American to find a home in Brentford from history's John Quincy Adams - US President, and Pocohantas - Native American Indian. Cain has been giving his time to help young people and others in west London for several years during his traveling. He volunteers his time with the charity theBridgeUK, teaching others how to reach their dreams and using media, entertainment and culinary talents to succeed. This past year amongst many hardships, he still found time to train young people to be accountable to creating a plan and making it happen right there in Brentford. One of his projects saw a few local artist get a boost in launching their new music careers and developing new products to promote their craft in December.Over in this time he has transform a derelict building from incubation into to a growing functional community enterprise. Using his immense knowledge, skills, intellect & compassion to realise his dream of helping 2nd & 3rd generation unemployed people focus on improving their lives, not only on a personal but also on a professional level. He has opened up possibilities by giving them the foundations and foresight to help them to realise their dreams and aspirations. One example of this was taking a sample of this generation, transforming them from unskilled to skilled in a matter of months to produce media marketing tools for charities. Another is coaching and mentoring the young ‘wannabe artists’ in the music and media industry and taking them their present situation and going nowhere to realising their potential and showing them it is possible to have a dream and make it into a reality. It would be incredible if he and his team could achieve recognition of his dedication to add further credibility to his tireless efforts. His abundance of energy, enthusiasm, passion, and dedication to see a project through from initial concept to completion is outstanding, what he has done thus far is commendable, he has the ability to bring out the best in people, raising self esteem and self confidence and helping people to believe in their abilities and helping them move from the status quo with a can do attitude.
