Joan Catterall
So sorry to read of Joan's death (on the front page), I made Joan's acquaintance when she was a co-opted member on the Isleworth & Brentford area committee some years ago. I didn't know Joan very well but I did know of her long standing hard work for Gunnersbury Park and the Friends,no-one could ever doubt her committment to preserving the park for others to enjoy, as someone who spent much of their childhood in and around Gunnersbury park - many years later I can appreciate how much dedication and time goes into this type of activity and how much we owe to the unsung heroes like Joan.
