Mr Read thank you for your answer, this is very useful. I was under the impression that it might have been orchards and that it all ended when the owner died? But I could be totally wrong.I don't suppose you remember anything else.Thanks once again.

Ther used to be a farm here from what l remember from about fifty years ago l belive it was called hoars farm
