I recvd a email from the Head of the Co stating they should off gave me a refund and told me they will honour the refund when i go back in but today i gopt this from the store manager of Hounslows £1 or 2;Thank you for your email advising us of your experience at our Hounslow £or2 Plus store.Whilst I'm sorry to hear of your thoughts regarding the points you have raised please accept my response below.Our exchange/refund policy is clearly displayed at each and every one of our 10 tills and it clearly states the following:- - - - ''We are happy to exchange items (except for special offers and hygiene sensitive / food products) that are not suitable within 14 days of purchase.Items must be in original packaging and presented with a valid receipt.Regrettably we do not offer refunds on any items.''- - - - We as a business are NOT obligated to offer refunds and feel free to check this with Trading Standards if you wish.At the stage of checkout you have the choice of not proceeding with a transaction if you are not happy to do so for whatever reason, the till operators are happy to remove items from the sale up until the point where the payment is made. Once you have made payment for your shopping our policy with regard to exchanges/refunds comes into force.If the item(s) are in their original sellable condition and your valid reciept is still to hand, we can offer you an exchange or credit voucher to use as you wish.I also learned from your email that there was some confusion as to why we sell products over £2.The store is called '£or2 Plus' and it's the 'plus' that may have not been acknowledge on your part, I have attached our logo for your reference.We highly value your custom and hope that you continue shopping with us.I hope that this email has answered the concerns you had and please do not hesitate to contact me if you wish to discuss anything further.-- Kind Regards,Samer El-RicheStore Manager
