Another Vicious Attack!!What is our town coming too!!

Yesterday evening 3 youths were stopped from stealing a bicycle this side of Brentford Bridge outside the Northumberland, one was believed to have been bitten by a dog that was nearby, they ran! 5 minutes later 2 of the youths returned armed with Knives and Baseball Bats, the chap who owned the bike was then beaten around the head with the baseball bats and stabbed 3 times the cowards then ran away, fortunately a Police Car was going by and was hailed down, the 2 Constables did not hesitate out came a medical bag and they helped the stabbed victim whilst awaiting an ambulance they then went to St Mary's Hospital Paddington and kept company with the victim, these 2 constables are to be commended for there speedy action and our heartfelt thanks go to them. If anyone reading this thread has any information or knows anyone who wears a brown hoody then please!!! do not hesitate to tell the Police.Without your help this kind of behavior will go unpunished and eventually another death will occur. We as a community need to back our Police Force and for goodness sake if you have information give it don't think it is grassing because it isn't, it is making sure that animals like this are locked away for a long time and also ensuring that our loved ones are safe. We have to stand up and be counted not hide away in fear these little *rseholes are cowards one to one in a pack they are murderous and must be stopped.

This is the problem, when I was younger we were allowed to play in the street specifically because our mum's could keep an eye on us. Now that I am a wee bit better my Dee has been taking me down to Portsmouth the surrounding area is quite lovely, we'll see.

Dawn, I would say 'Go for it'.  If you have young children or in the future grandchildren it will give them 'a fighting chance' and not in the aggressive street sense. My daughter got into the wrong crowd at a very early age and we all suffered the results.  But before that we endured misberable neighbours in my road in Brentford  telling my children off for on hot summer days having waterfights in the street, playing football in the street and having snowball fights on the street in the snow. Maybe if those neighbours had let the children be children the children would not have started hanging out on other street corners and not started finding such not so innocent things to do.

You are so right, I'm discussing with my husband whether to sell up and move now. The young thugs and drug pushers would appear to have complete control of Brentford at the moment. In my time where ever you roamed in our town you were absolutely safe,because everybody looked out for one and other, drugs and thugs were not tolerated unfortunately times change, if you fight back it is you that ends up in court. Grossly unfair but there you are.

I lived in Brentford and loved Brentford for the majority of my life and I really was a Brentford lass/girl/women through and through.  I took as I thought, a painful wrench and moved to Hampshire last year.... It is the best move I have ever made in my lifetime... Country life, yet only 40 minutes away from Brentford... Beautiful countryside, pick your own farms, horses in fields, teenagers playing on their skateboards, out bike riding, playing cricket etc. (not hanging around street corners spliffing etc.) I wish I had moved when my two children were younger to have enabled them to have this type of quality of life.  Never too late though....

Brentford used to be a very close knit community, however the baddies appear to have it all there own way at the moment.Let's just hope for some speedy legal action soon.

Commander Bilton my integrity has been questioned by an idiotic little person. If arrests have not been made yet concerning the stabbing on Brentford Bridge, then that is not acceptable. Being that there were eye witnesses to the assault Not only I but others of our community cannot see why arrests have not been made already, it's very wrong for thugs who live not 50 yards from the victim to still be at large. We depend upon you and your team to protect us, please do not disappoint us and allow idiots to say I told you so.

Well!!! does it not make a very poor statement, that not one comment has come about, Ah! well! it would seem that we are more neighborly this side of Brentford Bridge and the information that has been forth coming is gratifying. this has been given to the Police on the thugs identities so hopefully we should see arrests made a.s.a.p. although the time lapse does pose the question, have they been given enough time to dispose of there weapons, however the dog bite should still be visible. Incidentally these same thugs badly beat a women and stole her handbag 2 months back, WHY?? are they still at large, one would hope that ethnicity is not the reason. That comment is without bias just factual.
