Dramazone ending at Watermans

I know people on here don't much care for the Waterman's management and as a disgruntled ex-employee I'm with them on that but Dramazone is ending. This has been one of the few community based projects they have run since the beginning. Kenn Michaels has been teaching the class for around 20 years. He's a total legend and I have met people in Brentford whose children are now adults that say he taught them more than some of their school teachers. From what I see he has not had the support of the management so if anyone wants to write to them or the council offering some support please do. My son will miss it.

Justin, Apologies,I did not intend to be patronising to you or anyone; I was addressing my comment to Margaret, who felt that there were only Asian shows at the Watermans.No I don't work there, and I agree there have been management issues, but I do try to support it as a local venue.

It's great that Helen Martin is promoting there. People often talk about the great live acts that played at Watermans in the Eighties.A little patronizing about my horizons. While working there I saw many Asian shows.Do you work at Watermans Diana?

There are some childrens' activities over the summer, maybe not suitable for all ages I guess.Re. the Asian shows; why not broaden your horizons and go to one, they are often well performed and quite funny.There are also some music events coming up courtesy of Helen Martin Productions.

Margaret, I think you'll find that the Waerman's has had a show for under 8s every Sunday afternoon all year during termtime.

Perhaps it's all winding down there. They do what they get funding for. Green Dragon School has expressed an interest in Kenn doing some drama classes there.

Waterman's only seem to have Indian events now. They used to have great shows for the under 8s but I can't find any this year
