Is Theresa May in charge of Immigration???

I cannot believe what I have just read, Mrs Rashida Chapti age 54 a resident of Malawi before coming to England(just how long has it been since Malawi has been a British Colony) Mrs Chapti traveled on a British protected passport first issued when the family lived in Malawi then a British Colony. She moved here with her Mum & Dad 6 years ago,she applied and was granted naturalization and became a British Citizen(why on earth did this happen when she had a husband and 5 grown sons plus 2 daughters at home)Theresa May quite rightly has said no to her 5 boys,2 daughters and husband gaining the right to live in our country!! She hasn't seen her husband but once in 6 years also one of her sons,and yet 2 live in Africa!! The rest live in India this gets more confusing.Yet we as a Nation are being accused of being "racist & discriminatory" for saying no!Bloody European Law Article 8 of the European Convention of Human Rights, which protects the right to a "private and family life" also Article 12, the right to marry! Well lets get rid of the interference of Europe once and for all, this guy does not even speak English and is not prepared to learn, If the courts reverse Mrs Mays decision that will automatically mean 7 Council houses plus Benefit straight away allocated to people who have never contributed to our society.Mrs Chapti has said that she is fighting for her husband and all the others who deserve the chance to come to the UK to be with their partners. If she loses she will go to the European Court!!!In future Check!!! We already are over crowded it is time to say NO!! If that doesn't work, then lets have a Referendum!!

Why?? do you persist in telling me what I think, if Labour had done a good job of there 13 years in power and they would have been good both for myself and the rest of the UK then I would have voted them back in toot sweet, however they didn't and by there past actions wouldn't!!! Also why do you have to be so derogatory about people?

If you were at all honest with yourself you'd at least admit you wouldn't defend a Labour government that had all p****d off on their hols at the same time, you'd be the first calling them everything under the sun. No-one is disputing that people are entitled to holidays - although I would point out a lot of people won't be having one this year thanks to your precious Tories. However, I notice they're all getting their rears into gear now the papers and TV have been critical of their absence, although Dodgy Dave continues to languish in his millionaire villa, and wee Georgie O is happily playing with Mickey Mouse in L.A. Cameron knows full well by the time the next election rolls around people will have forgotten his non appearance. It is also worth reminding you we do have due process in this country, although I dare say you'd be the first one leading a lynch mob. Put your noose away and let the law take its course.

Do we actually know for certain that David Cameron said this or is it supposition,do you really think that he would willingly lose votes by doing this. Can we believe anything that we read nowadays??? Why is there such a fuss that Cabinet member's are on holiday, Parliament is in Recess,for goodness sake we are all entitled to a holiday what's the big deal, quite frankly why should politicians rush back to the UK because hooligans are running riot and breaking the law if they did this it would only add credence to not only them but there disgusting behavior.There is NO excuse they should be prosecuted and jailed.

Vanessa-You seem to forget that we are all in a very sorry state because of 13 years of Labour neglect,let's be truthful here the only ones to make a good living(and come out very very rich) in those 13 yrs were the Labour politicians, when they went out of power there was nary a poor one between them. At least David Cameron pays for his own holiday and not on expenses!Frankly after dear Nick had already stabbed him in the back do you honestly believe that it would have been safe to have left him here on his tod.When you consider the bloody mess the UK is in at the moment it would be more constructive if all political parties were to put aside their own political motivation and surprise us all in WORKING together!! it would be most appreciated by all no matter whom we voted for.

Don't you know life's not fair - especially to ordinary working people who are being squeezed by inflation, fuel price increases and all the rest (that you have been moaning about). As for little Willie Haigh, that monotonous little twerp who was a precocious little boy has just morphed into a patronising, posturing man with ambition way above his capabilities. He couldn't run the proverbial in a brewery, and if you seriously think anyone feels sorry for Dodgy Dave living it up in his £10.000 a week villa you are sadly mistaken, what big companies do you know of that let their management all go on holiday at once?

That is not fair, if you and I were in a coalition government. would you trust me whilst you were away, No! of course you would not. However we do have an able William Haige at the helm, who in my opinion would have made a damn find Prime Minister.Mr.Cameron has already been accused of being responsible for the World Share Crisis poor chap. At least we are 2% over the base, not a lot but going in the right direction.

Mrs.Chapti is not in question, she works and contributes to our society, however she has a husband 5 grown sons and 2 married daughters, Mr Chapti is not prepared to learn English because his wife speaks a little. At the moment we have 2.5 million unemployed in the UK we can no longer absorb immigrants into our society, this is not racism it is a fact. We have friends from all parts of the world, it doesn't matter whether you are red blue black yellow or green. It is time out and we need our border control replaced.Quite frankly where else in the world would you be allowed in if you could not support yourself or indeed had already arranged a house to live in. No where!!!The economy being as it is, it is difficult for any of us to survive. We have 2 son's both qualified Electricians who want to work however it is so bad out there it is few and far between, we have 3 grandsons 1 trained to be a Plumber on his 3rd year he had to leave because he needed an apprenticeship outside of college to complete, couldn't get one, he now works in a scrap yard to live, another went to college to train as an Electrician same scenario he is now a groundsman for a Rugby Club, the other grandson is at college yet again training as an Electrician, they want to do what they were trained for and work, and yet there are simply NO jobs out there.This is why I say we can no longer absorb immigrants, government need to help us out, because by golly we certainly need it!!!

I was allowed to move to the UK and marry my British husband over 20 years ago with absolutely no other connections here whatsoever. I don't believe that this was influenced in any way by Europe. If this lady had the correct documents and is now a citizen, she hasn't broken any laws. If it makes you feel any better, it is now much more difficult to get ILTR/residency than it used to be, and much more expensive and arduous to get a British passport. I hope that helps put your mind at rest.
