What does Brentford really need?

If anyone were brave enough to start a business or open a shop in Brentford, what could it usefully be?  I know the first thing I would like would be a bakery that sells bread that tastes like bread rather than doughy sawdust.  There are some things in Morrisons which are o.k. and others that are really bad and their bread is one of them and Greggs is no better so, a bakery please.By the way, I rarely eat pies of any sort because I don't like pastry and I therefore just eat the centre but, last week I bought an individual steak and kidney pie in Morrisons mainly because it was reduced.  Got it home, shoved it in the oven and then attempted to eat it.  Not one piece of meat of any description could I find - I had a gravy pie.  Is this normal?

Well it has a great annual Festival in Boston Manor Park that Brentfordians should be proud of. (next event 4th Sept),it has handy transport links, an Airport nearby(!), Parks galore and River and Canal access, lots of Sports Clubs for leisure activites, a League Football team, and plenty of places to visit.But shame about "the local crims" and muggings. (Remember that women attacked some years ago on the canal Tow Path and she finished up in Hosp...and the business along there who had his laptop stolen etc.) Perhaps we need a Warlord with henchmen to round them up..if the police are not too concerned.Crime just spoils the show for everyone. It's like dropping a droplet of ink into a glass of milk. It spoils it.Yes a top bakery (like the ones in Northfields) with cream cakes too. Bring it on.

Agree with the bakery Idea Bernadette.I'd say that what Brentford needs is a purge on local crims and a police presence late at night, but this applies to most places I suppose.
