Beautiful young dog looking for home
I am fostering a dog on behalf of www.prodogsdirect.org.uk until a lovely new home is found for him. I am in Isleworth.Harvey is 16 months old and is a very large dog with very short legs and very long luxuriant hair (photos on next post hopefully). He is allegedly the result of a short term affair between a female cairn terrier and a male labrador! Harvey is full of youthful exuberance and would love to live with an active family with a garden, children over 5 (he might send littler ones flying with his enthusiasm!) and maybe another playful dog companion. He can also live with cats and is allegedly also fine with rabbits! He doesn't seem to have a nasty bone in his body, is very affectionate and loves his walks particularly if there are other dogs to play with. He is in good health and by the end of this week will have had his booster injections, a new microchip, and a top up of flea and worm treatment. He has already been neutered. He has come from a loving family but was just too much for the disabled mum who had to walk him beside her mobility scooter. He has sent her flying a few times so they made the hard decision to let him go. He is learning new things like travelling in a car (fine on the hour's journey from his old home) and being left alone in the house for short periods from time to time.Anyone who adopts him will need to be a keen dog groomer and also have a good hoover!Send me a PM if you would like to know more about Harvey or arrange to meet him. As PMs do not always work you can email me on sarah.sharp08@gmail.comYou could also apply to adopt him via www.prodogsdirect.org.ukHe has had some interest already but we want to make sure he goes to the perfect home for a large young active dog.
