Spare time in the rain for Brentford festival

Please spend a little time in the rain at the Brentford Festival. Everybody has worked so hard. Put on your waterproofs and get down there.

That was most unfortunate Ian when you have taken the trouble to attend the Festival with your treasures.  I've no idea what happened to that "Antiques Roadshow" tent in the corner of the Bowling Green.I believe Julia Quilliam and her contacts might be able to help you identify and value these items... now we have seen images of them here on the Forum.Hopefully they see these Forum postings sometimes..and maybe they can respond. Simon..can you help?

When I approached it there was one youngster walking away from it towards the chair circle in the middle and no-one else in sight.Priceless eh? I'd taken the thermometer and an old coffee service that my grandfather brought back from Russia yonks ago. It was made by Kornilov and legend has it that it came from a royal household. I'll see if I can post some pictures of it for all you porcelain lovers.

Yes, honest! The music desk was sharing the Chiswick Auction's gazebo. The audio equipment on that desk was, at the time, relaying the sounds from the main stage located on the other side of the M4The Chiswick Auctions sign was probably lying on the grass at the time I took the picture. I spoke to the "valuers" and their staff and they were concerned at being far away for the Park walkways. I'm not sure what was the outcome.

Here is the scene of the bowling green at the beginningof the day before the drizzle arrived. Festivalgoers were invited to join in the musical action with plenty of spare instruments to play. I should have tried the bongo drums...but hey what's that posh marquee in the background?It was the location of the Antiques Roadshow..a posh dining table and impressively regal chairs. Did it happen?

There was a gazebo in the corner of the bowling green with chairs in. Think it was that.

I did, to visit the Chiswick Auction antiques roadshow.Couldn't find it.....certainly not around the bowling green where it was supposed to be.Oh well.
