The St Paul's Church Luncheon Club, Aged Concern, and the Sheltered Home in Clayponds Lane are being approached. Do you know folk who ought to be invited?Sylvia clarified that the Inverness Club is now privately owned ..although it was was originally owned by the British Legion. Historians tell us that it was once the residence of the Duke of Cumberland.. not sure which one! The Inverness Club has a fab ballroom with an ornate high ceiling. Have you seen it?The Brentford Branch of the British Legion still meets there. You don't have to be an old soldier to attend the Party... just look old!! The Mayor will be attending it is reported.So, can you swell the numbers?
