Check your bill at Morrisons Brentford.

Morriso's is a pretty good shop, my daughter and I shop there maybe 4 or 5 times a week however this last week we have experienced two misrepresentations of pricing that we are aware of just by checking our bill they were as follows:-Platinum Fairy Liquid on offer @ 2 for £2.50 on bill shown as £3.60 a difference of £1.10.Body Form all sizes on offer @ £1 per pack shown on bill as £1.55 a difference of 0.55.If it comes up on the bill then the main frame has been updated and to continue showing previous pricing on the shelves is wrong, just how much money is made on a weekly basis with misreprentation of prices, on both occasions the product was given back and the money refunded with no appology!Now this morning we go again to shop there and yes I know very well that it is wrong to smoke, eat cakes,sweets etc,etc however there is only one thing certain in life that as soon as you are born the clock is ticking towards oblivion a long time coming one hopes.However back to my moaning I wanted to buy 2 x 50grm packs of Golden Virginia for a guy down the street who cannot get out, the price stated £12.98 unfortunately all they had was 25gm packs @ £7.47 per pack, that is £14.74 verses £12.98 it is outrageous that such a vast difference can occur, when I complained to a supervisor appologies were made this time and excuses being that the 50 grm had been ordered, the amount of 25gm packs showed a different story.

We really don't have a choice, there is no control over pricing these day's.

I don't suppose the pricing problems in Morrisons is any worse than Sainsbury with whom I have had many problems over the years even to the point of reporting them to Trading Standards.  However, I can better Dawn's complaints. I bought a packet of Halls cough sweets in Martins in the Half Acre just yesterday.  I handed over a £1 coin and received 3p change.  I queried this and commented that the last time I had bought them they were about 40p.  The assistant said "yeah but when was that?"  I said "not that long ago" but the deal was done and I left.  I went along to Morrisons and whilst there searched see if they sold these sweets which they did for 47p!  I bought them and marched back to Martins where I showed him the till receipt and asked for a refund which I got.  Martins is not a one off small retailer (but even if it were) to charge more than twice the price for something is unacceptable.  So beware of real sharp practice on the high street it can happen anywhere and in these days, everywhere!

On four recent visits my bill at Morrisons was out by three items on each bill. The price on the shelf is differant at the till. The last two visits This was spotted by me at the till and put right. The visits before were not spotted till I was home. Tried to ring no one picked the phone up. So I wrote in to the manager. To date no reply

Morrison's are just like any of the others.Good for some things,not so good on others.I find their bread is poor in relation to other places.The store is relatively small,and keeping it permanently understaffed seems to be their policy.

This is the problem Tony we just let these overpricing or errors on our bill go by the board,I must admit that up until a few weeks ago my shopping was done at Chiswick(S) I think as circumstances are looking much better than they were I will go back to Chiswick.

Sorry Dawn but I will only shop here as a last resort, some of their prices leave an awful lot to be desired and unless you keep a very close eye on your purchases you could be losing out. One such instance is their small tins of tomato juice, its going for 63p and if you go to one of the other supermarkets(cant name any names but it starts wih W) its going for 47p and thats a big difference, the 4 cans of mackesons are also very highly priced compared to other shops. Just a couple of examples
