I have two pencils marked withV.F.Dean LTD  Phone Chi 632617 Brentford Market, MiddxUse our pencil plus our service for your satisfaction.Anyone know anything about this company, are they still in business?  What shall I do with the pencils?  (both used)

An update.. those previous Dean's I posted about were prewar.A 1949 publication I have shows V F Dean Ltd to be Grocers (Wholesale) and Provision Merchants with a different phone number... CHI 1914.

Morning Sarah,The Dean family were Fruit Sellers at the Market from before the 1930's.According to Kelly's Directory,they occupied No 106 and No 17 in the "Market Stalls and Offices"....and additionally No 10 in "The Warehouses"No doubt the pencil "a sales promotion item!" was carried over the ear as was the fashion in those days!What to do with the Pencils? Perhaps email the Museum at Gunnersbury Park is an idea.
