Labour MP Alan Keen dies after cancer battle

News from the BBC:The Labour MP Alan Keen has died at the age of 73 after what ex-PM Gordon Brown called a "heroic fight" against cancer.Mr Keen, whose wife Ann was a former Labour MP and health minister, had been MP for the London constituency of Feltham and Heston since 1992.He was chairman of Parliament's all-party football group and spent 18 years before becoming an MP as a scout for Middlesbrough football club.Mr Keen is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter

So sorry to hear this, I knew Alan had been fighting this terrible disease for the last eighteen months or so. We may well have had our differences in the past but my condolences go to Ann and his family.
