I am totally in agreement with you, just yesterday I read about a convicted drug pusher who had weapons on him when caught, spent several years in prison out now, however he has gone to court and told them that if he was deported back to Jamaica he would re-offend,Judges ruled he was entitled to a family life and he gets to stay here whilst re-offending, our Judges should really start getting their act together and think of the long term effect that it will have. When I was younger and you did not have a job, people had to sign on, I think it was called the National Assistance Board, when you signed on weekly you were given job cards which you took to your interview if you did not attend then you gave up your right to benefit, perhaps this should be instigated now, I know that it will not be liked. However saying that, offering a man who has been used to earning good money a paltry £5.75 per hour is ludicrous especially when benefits are a better prospect or so I am told. I think it depends on circumstances, I don't have experience of this fortunately so I am going to dig a deeper hole if I continue.
